Our program will begin with speeches from local academics, students, and activists about the importance of pro-science policies and federal funding to their work. Talks will run from shortly after 12:00 until approximately 2:00. From there, the second half of the event will shift into an opportunity to continue holding vigil with our signs, networking with each other and state officials, and taking individual actions to stand up for science.
Important safety information: Please do not fully block the sidewalk, stand in the street, or bring signs attached to sticks!
