This two day masterclass with the Award-Winning Comedian from Laugh Factory USA, Saad Haroon, aims to take you up a level in your stand-up comedy career. Whether you are a beginner, an intermediate or a regular performer, the masterclass is designed to help structure your performance and find the funny beyond the fear!You will leave the masterclass knowing the basics of stand-up comedy. From basic technical skills that every comic should know to tricks and tips to help you onstage. Moreover, you will learn how to find the joke hidden in your ideas and also have the opportunity to perform for your friends and family through a showcase event especially curated for the participants.
This class is for anyone who wants to try their hand at stand up comedy or who is already a performer looking to up their game.
Saad Haroon was awarded 2nd place in the Funniest Person In The World Competition held at Laugh Factory USA, Saad Haroon is a American Comedian, Writer & Performer known across the world. He created Pakistan’s first improvisational comedy troupe ‘Blackfish’ which performed weekly shows for over three years and was also selected to perform at ‘Contacting the World’, one of the world’s largest international theatre festivals.
He then went on to create and perform in ‘Sharkʼ and ‘The Agency’, two critically acclaimed bi-lingual improvisational theatre groups that also toured internationally. He has written five solo shows, and performed in prestigious venues all over the world including the Southbank Centre in London and the world-famous Laugh Factory in Hollywood. He also created, hosted and was head-writer for ‘The Real Newsʼ, which aired on National Television in three countries. Haroon then went on to produce and star in another critically acclaimed show ‘Saad Haroon: Very Live!ʼ based on his exploits traveling internationally as a stand-up comedian.
