The G. V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center will host our annual Stand Down for Homeless Veterans on Friday, September 27, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Salvation Army, located at 570 E Beasley Road, Jackson, MS 39206.This important event is a cornerstone of our commitment to serving the veterans in our community, particularly those who are experiencing homelessness. With the support of dozens of dedicated community partners, including businesses and local and state agencies, we will be providing essential resources and support to our homeless Veterans.
What to Expect:
- Access to vital services and resources from our incredible community partners
- A warm, welcoming environment where camaraderie and community spirit shine
