BOYS’ SPRING AAU for Grades 3-8 Tryouts March 16th
Stampede Spring AAU Boys’ Basketball tryouts are for grades 3 through 8. Stampede AAU is for players who love basketball, are pretty good at it, and want to get better at it!
PARENTS MUST BE AT TRYOUTS TO REGISTER THEIR SON AND PAY A--$20 fee to tryout (non-refundable) – you can pay with check or cash at the tryout.

IF YOUR SON IS SELECTED TO A TEAM, PARENTS MUST ORDER A GAME UNIFORM RIGHT AWAY. THE STORE TO ORDER WILL BE OPEN FROM March 18th through March 21st. THE GAME UNIFORMS ARE CUSTOM MADE AND HAVE A 5 WEEK TURN AROUND TIME. WE WANT TO MAKE SURE HE WILL GET HIS UNIFORM BEFORE HIS FIRST GAME.
YOU WILL ALSO NEED TO GO AND BUY A GOOD INDOOR BASKETBALL FOR HIM TO BRING TO EACH PRACTICE ALONG WITH A BLACK AND WHITE REVERSIBLE JERSEY. FOR 3RD THROUGH 6TH THEY WILL NEED A 28.5 SIZE BALL. FOR 7TH & 8TH GRADE THEY USE A 29.5 SIZE BALL. A GOOD INDOOR ONLY BALL WILL COST BETWEEN $40-$70.
Tryouts-Saturday March 16th

3rd, 4th, 5th grade 10am to 11:30am @ Large and Small Gym at Clovis North
6th, 7th, 8th grade 11:30am to 1pm @ Large and Small Gym at Clovis North
Practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the Clovis North Gyms and sometimes at the Granite Ridge Gym. The times vary, and I will update the calendar, once the teams are selected. Typically, you could have a 5pm to 6:30pm, a 6:30pm to 8pm, a 7pm to 8:30pm, or a 7:30pm to 9pm time slot depending on the number of teams we have and gym availability. We will play in local Spring Tournaments. It is possible to have a Friday, Saturday or Sunday game. Each team is guaranteed to play in 3 games at each tournament.

Practice Uniform $25 – Black and White reversible (Can use from Stampede League) – you can get this from me at
one of the practices.
