Stamped Tote Bags craft workshop in Montgomery County, Md.

In this workshop with local artist Julie Gross (@juliegrossartist), you will decorate a tote bag with handmade stamps to create a piece of wearable art.

First, you’ll design your own fabric stamp using adhesive foam and plexiglass. Then you’ll stamp the design with fabric paint. If you’d like, Julie will show you how to use dimensional fabric paint for additional line work on the bag. Don't worry, you’ll practice your design on paper first!

All materials are provided, including:

• A 22-by-16-inch tote bag
• Fabric paints
• Adhesive foam and plexiglass pieces for creating your stamp
• Instruction and encouragement!

This workshop is open to crafters 10+. Anyone under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
