Join glass artist Kate Doig for this copper foiling glass workshop where you will make beautiful little light catchers for your festive windows, Christmas tree or as decorative gifts for friends or family.Suitable for beginners as well as those with experience, learn how to cut glass safely, how to use a glass grinder and how to apply copper foil and solder it all together. There will be templates available to guide your makes.
Kate Doig from Firewolf Glass is a qualified tutor and professional glass artist. She studied architectural glass at Bristol School of Art and has taught stained glass classes for over 12 years.
Please note, this workshop is suitable for adults only due to the glass cutting element. This workshop may also not be suitable for anyone with weak wrists or hands.
