On this half day taster workshop you will make a small stained glass sun catcher for your home. Whether you have had a go at stained glass in the past or not you can come and learn all the techniques for making copper foiled stained glass. They includecutting glass
grinding the edges smooth
copper foiling
soldering
You'll practice first on some plain glass and then get to choose from a range of beautiful coloured textured glass to finish your piece.
There will be a selection of templates for you to choose from including angels, robins, boats, hearts and stars as well as others, templates are regularly updated. Some of the pictures show what people have made on previous workshops.
A great way to try something new and make a lasting decoration for your home.
This workshop requires strength and dexterity in your hands.
Suitable for age 16+
The solder used in stained glass contains lead. If you are pregnant you may want to check with your Doctor before booking this course.
