In this 4-hour workshop, students will get the opportunity to create a beautiful one-of-a-kind stained glass northern lights panel. The technique that is used is called copper foil overlay and produces a dramatic silhouetted scenescape. You will learn tricks and tips to successfully create your panel. Patterns will be available to help you in your design or you can draw freehand to make the panel uniquely yours. Each panel comes with a candle to place behind; the flickering of the candle giving the illusion of the flickering of the northern lights. Once you have learned how to create the illusion of silhouette art, you can create practically any image you desire.Please wear closed toe shoes. Outdoor shoes will be left at the front entrance.
You can bring a water bottle or closed coffee with you.
