Conceived in 2013, the UK black metal band Stahlsarg have travelled through the UK and Europe sharing stages alongside Endstille, Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult. Taake, Svarttjern, Sarkom & many more. Stahlsarg's latest offering Suicide of God Ep was released on 1st March 2023 via Cult Never Dies. Stahlsarg continue to tour the UK and Europe.
SOLIFUGIA (BE)
Born somewhere in the beginning of the new millennium, risen from the mud, blood and gore in Flanders, Belgium, we present you Solifugia, the lovechild of Centurial and Locusta. After some line-up changes this quintet showcases their affection for Death Metal in the vein of Bolt Thrower, Gorefest, Atheist, Vader and Carcass (some excellent name-dropping, is it not!?).
With a demo (Arraneae Attack – 2001), an EP (Rampage of Brutal Revenge – 2008) and a full album (The Ultimate Promise of Evil – 2016) one can hardly say that they are very productive. 2024 however marked the birth of the new EP “Ageless Sadism”, self-produced and mixed and mastered by the mighty Dan Swanö at Unisound Sweden. Maybe the wrinkle in the big metal pond will expand a little…
This is steaming Death Metal!! Don’t take yourself too seriously, you will eventually die! Cheers!
