The Stage Raw (“I’ll Be Seeing You”) Theater Awards Party (May 6 at Sassafras Saloon in Hollywood) is closing in. Last year's party sold out (photos are from last year's party, by Martin Hernandez), so don't be left out. If you're an award winner, we want to ensure you can get in! Some of you, or people in your companies, are award-winners, and may not know this. If you/they can’t make it, can you ensure somebody from the company is there as a delegate to retrieve their awards.

This year, we’re honoring the Fountain Theatre’s Stephen Sachs for "Lifetime Achievement," and Playwrights’ Arena’s Jon Lawrence Rivera as this year’s “Queen of the Angels.”
We’re particularly honored to have Santa Monica’s Verdi Chorus make a featured appearance/performance.
Doors open at 7:30 pm. Verdi Chorus will perform at 8:30. The ceremony itself will be brief (30-45 minutes, starting at 9 pm. The rest of the time is dedicated to catching up with old friends (and young friends), networking, dancing. eating and drinking. Food is complimentary, The venue has a pay-as-you-go cash bar. Admission is $25. If you plan on arriving after 7:30 pm, a ride-share service is recommended. There is no dress code. Being a private event, people under the age of 21 are permitted in the saloon, but must wear an identifying wrist-band provided by the venue.
