"Six Triple Eight" tells the powerful story of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion, the only-female U.S. Army unit to serve overseas during World War II. Tasked with sorting millions pieces of undelivered mail in Europe, these extraordinary women overcame discrimination, harsh conditions, and doubt — ensuring that every soldier’s mail from home was delivered with pride and purpose.Their motto: “No Mail, Low Morale.”
