Learning Objectives
- Participants will learn to organize a detailed, orderly plan for approaching legal assignments concerning legal interpreter resources and conflict potential. ·
- Students will demonstrate understanding and differentiate between proceedings interpreters, interpreters for counsel, and investigative interpreters.
- They will analyze and review staffing practice scenarios.
- In the final activity, participants will demonstrate an understanding of staffing legal assignments by taking the lead in staffing a complex legal case from first appearance to jury trial. Followed by guidance, feedback, and suggestions to ensure comprehension and information integration.
