Buxton Books is excited to host Stacy Willingham at Palmetto Brewing Co. for a Pre-Publication Launch Party for All the Dangerous Things!
About this Event

A feather in the cap of Charleston's literary scene, Stacy Willingham became an instant New York Times bestseller for her debut novel, A Flicker in the Dark. Since it's release last January, A Flicker in the Dark has shocked countless readers with its twists and turns, been featured and reviewed by a multitude of major publications, and continued to fly off the shelves at bookstores around the country (including Buxton Books, of course).

Now, Stacy is back with her much anticipated second novel, , which will release on January 10, 2023! To celebrate, Stacy will be with Buxton Books at Palmetto Brewing Co. on Sunday, January 8- a full two days before the official release date - signing books, answering questions, and raising a toast to what we are sure is going to be another bestselling thriller hitting the market.

By coming to this event, you will be among the very first people in the world - other than Stacy's dad (her unofficial first reader/guinea pig) - to get your hands on this book! You'll also get to chat with Stacy about everything from what it feels like to be rocketed to author stardom with an internationally bestselling debut novel to what she's working on next.

Please join us starting at 3:30 pm for this very special pre-publication launch party! Each ticket includes a signed and personalized hardcover copy of the book (which you will take home with you two days before it hits stores), as well as entrance to the event. Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the event, courtesy of Palmetto Brewing Co. And, of course, Buxton will be bringing additional books for purchase so event attendees can stock up on signed, personalized copies for friends and loved ones!

If you have any questions, feel free to call the bookstore at 843-723-1670, and a bookseller will assist you.

ABOUT

Following up her instant New York Times bestseller, A Flicker in the Dark, Stacy Willingham delivers a totally gripping thriller about a desperate mother with a troubled past in All the Dangerous Things.

One year ago, Isabelle Drake's life changed forever: her toddler son, Mason, was taken out of his crib in the middle of the night while she and her husband were asleep in the next room. With little evidence and few leads for the police to chase, the case quickly went cold. However, Isabelle cannot rest until Mason is returned to her—literally.

Except for the occasional catnap or small blackout where she loses track of time, she hasn’t slept in a year.

Isabelle's entire existence now revolves around finding him, but she knows she can’t go on this way forever. In hopes of jarring loose a new witness or buried clue, she agrees to be interviewed by a true-crime podcaster—but his interest in Isabelle's past makes her nervous. His incessant questioning paired with her severe insomnia has brought up uncomfortable memories from her own childhood, making Isabelle start to doubt her recollection of the night of Mason’s disappearance, as well as second-guess who she can trust... including herself. But she is determined to figure out the truth no matter where it leads.
