We are excited to share with you details of our St Valentine's Day Sunset Soiree at Our Lady of Victories Parish, Bowen Hills! ✨Commencing at the earlier start time of 6:00pm, enjoy an alfresco arrival with shared charcuterie grazing boards and a glass of bubbles/juice as you soak in the sunset from Our Lady of Victories Parish’s perfect vantage at the top of Bowen Hills.
As the stars come out, the Soiree will move indoors to the Parish’s Upper Hall for a classic St Francis Social night of great music, called dances and a special ‘matched pair’ game!
Our St Valentine’s Day Sunset Soiree will be an opportunity to celebrate and honour the Four Loves: Agape (Charity), Eros (Romantic), Phileo (Friendship) and Storge (Familial). Attend as a couple, with a group of friends, your siblings or cousins, or arrive solo and meet new people on the night!
Tickets: $30 each (includes 1 glass of bubbles/juice and charcuterie grazing on arrival).
Dress: Smart casual (red, pink and love hearts encouraged to fit the St Valentine’s Day theme!)
All profits from the night will be donated to a local Catholic charity or organisation, which will be announced closer to the event date.

What is the St Francis Social? Good tunes + good dancing + a good crowd + for a good cause... basically, just a really good night out!
Inspired by the Catholic parish dances held around Brisbane during the 1950s – 1970s (ask your parents/grandparents about them!), the St Francis Social is a good ol' fashion dance/social mixer for Catholics aged 18 – 39, with a bit of fundraising for thrown in for good measure. All profits from our Socials (including ticket sales, drink and snack purchases) are donated to a local Catholic charities and organisations doing amazing work in Brisbane.
