Trails winding over St Sunday and around the Eastern Fells put the SSMR in the 'skyrunning' realm but allows those without the distance in their legs or confidence in their heads for ridges such as Striding and Swirral Edges to experience what skyrunning in the English Lake District is all about.
29km of mountain trails over St Sunday Crag and surrounding Eastern Fells. The SSMR™ is a test of mountain trail skill. An entry level 'sky' type race to whet your appetite for our longer races.
