Join us for a refreshing St. Stephen's Day Dip at Aughris Beach! Dive into the chilly waters on December 26th at 12 PM and help us raise funds for the Templeboy, Aughris Rural Action (TARA) Group.TARA is a dedicated group of local volunteers who have been working hard since 2017 to enhance our community’s environment and amenities. We take pride in maintaining flower boxes, our cliff walk, caring for roadside verges, and organising beach clean-ups, all to keep our area beautiful for everyone. However, we need your support to continue these efforts and improve our community further!
By participating in this family dip, you’ll not only enjoy a fun and invigorating experience but also contribute to important projects like better roadside signage and other community enhancements. All proceeds will go directly to TARA to help us make a positive impact in our area.
So grab your swimsuit, don your Santa hat, and bring your friends and family to get involved! Donations are welcome on the day, and every bit helps us in our mission to improve Templeboy and Aughris.
Sauna Sásta will also be beside the beach for those that wish to warm up after the dip!
