Spend some time experiencing soulful and spontaneous percussion rhythms as we watch the sunset in the distance from our drum circle. All listening, playing skills and ages are welcomed. If you have a drum bring it along. If not we will have plenty of loaner instruments available. Just bring a chair or blanket to sit on.Come dance and express yourself in the center, bang the drums or just sit or stand on the fringes and watch the show. Bring a chair or blanket if you plan to drum or watch. We will have a few extra chairs if you forget. Look for us in the circle of chairs with all of the drums in the center. Bring the family, we are kid friendly.
Please note that this is a new location given the construction at Coast Guard Beach. To find the Myrtle Street beach access #20, drive down Beachview Drive and make a right onto Cedar Street and then a left onto Postell Ave.
In the event of rain, we typically do not gather as drums don’t respond well in the rain. Not sure of status, email [email protected].
