Paula Marchman, director of Family Life Ministry of the Metropolis of Atlanta is excited to introduce the new gift book series beginning with “one good thought” written by Edna King. Edna will join us at the retreat where all participants will be gifted a copy of this beautiful book of photographs and wisdom.
Edna graduated from Georgia State University with a master’s degree in education, taught elementary school for seventeen years, and has written for Family Life Ministry, Engage Orthodoxy, and the Orthodox Christian Network. She is a member of St. Mary of Egypt in Roswell, GA. She is the co-author of Women and Forged.
One Good Thought is deep enough to inspire adults, but it is family friendly, encouraging us to share intergenerationally. Edna’s hope is that the reader is inspired and encouraged.
The Family Life Ministry is a vital branch of the Metropolis of Atlanta and serves the eight states that comprise the Metropolis through our website (EO), dynamic seminars and retreats, and creative and engaging material that helps individuals and families lead a Christ-centered, Orthodox life.
