Meet at 23rd Avenue and Sunset Way at the public access walkover.SPB Dune Savers started over a year ago to remove invasive plants from our coastal dunes. The Dune Savers work with the City of St. Pete Beach to prevent invasive plants such as Brazilian pepper, Mother-of-Millions, and Mother-in-Law Tongue from crowding out the native coastal plants.
Bring: Recommend a refillable water bottle, gloves, and closed-toed shoes.
Parking: If you have a residential parking pass, you can park on the street, but the better place to park is at the at Pass-a-Grille beach between 21st Avenue and 22nd Avenue. It is a 2-minute walk north on Sunset Way to the 23rd Avenue walkover. Volunteers without a residential pass, please see Deb for a beach parking pass.
