The Auburn Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has officially voted to keep our St. Patrick's Day Parade and Community Dinner an ongoing event!!!!
The St. Patrick’s Day parade was started by Bob Young in 1976 to kick off his political campaign. However it was never an official parade and happened with community members just showing up and driving through town at 5:17 p.m. on March 17.
Once through Old Town we invite the community to the new Corned Beef and Cabbage or Vegetarian Pasta Dinner at the ARD gym following the parade. Max's Restaurant & Bar and Carol’s Market will cater the dinner. A no-host Green Beer & Green Wine starts at 6 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30. Cost of dinner will be $25 per person. VIP tables of eight are available for $350.
Live music dancing a community sing-a-long and lots of Irish fun.
Dinner tickets are limited so get them early!!!
