We don’t want to be dramatic, but this will be one of the best St. Paddy’s Day parties in Lethbridge this year. Because nothing says “Irish” quite like live music, and we’ve got three local Celtic bands lined up. None of this “decorate your bar green and play top 40 hits” nonsense. Live! Celtic! Music! We start the night with Wander West, bringing classic Celtic melodies to soothe your troubled souls.

Then the legendary Junkman’s Quire nobly assembles like The Fellowship of the Ring to take you on a magical journey. This band only plays one show a year and it’s for St. Patrick’s Day. C’mon.

Last on the bill is Clover Overboard, the try-hard Celtic-rock band made up entirely of goofy-ass nerds (it’s OK, it’s us writing).
“Clover Overboard is a female-fronted Celtic rock band with a heavy dose of pop punk. Their original songs are energetic, stomp-worthy, and will make you want to dance like a fool. Plus they always throw in Celtic covers that the crowds love.”
And since St. Patrick’s Day feels like our birthday and we’re feeling *extra*, we’re giving out loot bags to the first 50 people who show up. Some loot bags will even have prizes.
So dress up in your greens, tartans, clover print underpants—it all counts. And get ready to dance like you’re below deck on the titanic at 9:00 p.m.
