The Curse of the Mummy’s Mummy a radio play by Kei Bailey - A charity fundraising event for St Nicolas PlayersThe year is 1895 and a series of unfortunate deaths are plaguing the prominent Twistleton family of Crumpleton. The villagers are fearful that the cause is the arrival of the mummified remains of King Ambidectrus, but who can save this sleepy village from a fate worse than death? There can only be one hero, the intrepid and ‘famous’ explorer Montgomery Bladderwicke. Join us in an evening of adventure where the play will be performed in front of a live
audience and you witness the magic of what happens in a studio producing a recording specifically for radio. Recorded in 2 parts in the same evening, this event will be a unique experience.

About the cast:
St Nics was set up in the late 1960s by Fred & Honor George who, having recently moved to Spalding, were asked to help the St Nicolas Church Youth Group produce a few plays. The group soon attracted members of all ages and St Nicolas Players was born. Their first productions in 1968 were 'See How They Run' and 'Christ in the Concrete City'.
The aim then, as it is today, was to encourage amateur performers to approach productions in a new and challenging way, developing and stretching them within a team of like-minded individuals.
