Our Annual Vinnies Winter Appeal will be held on Friday 21 June!This year St Michael's is raising awareness of the work of the Vinnies Van by inviting our families to bring in "snack pack" items that will be distributed to those in need via the Vinnies Van.
Suggested items for donation are listed below:
Kindy- small tins of tuna (95g)
Year 1/2- juice poppers/ cup of noodle soup
Year 3/4- small individually wrapped packets of biscuits, chips, dried fruit- eg tiny teddies/ family box of chips, sultana packs
Years 5/6- muesli bars (chewy not hard and no nuts), jelly/ fruit cups
These items can be brought in during Week 8.
A PJ mufti day will also be held on Friday 21 June. Students can wear pyjamas to school or warm winter woollies (no slippers).
Our Pope Francis Award students (Service team) will also be selling donuts at recess and lunch for a gold coin donation. All proceeds will go to our local Vinnies conference.
