On Sunday, October 6 from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., St. Mary's Episcopal Church (258 Concord St.) will be giving thanks for animals! You are most welcome and invited to attend this outdoor program. Sign up by October 1 to let us know you're coming!
- NEW: Meet and hold baby bunnies, baby chicks, baby ducklings, a baby goat, and more with!
- NEW: Purchase dog treats or cat toys made by the children of ! All proceeds go to the .
- Bring clean, bagged, older linens to donate to , one of New England’s largest no-K*ll shelters, who has these items on their wishlist.
We will also honor St. Francis, patron saint of animals, and bless pets, stuffies, and/or pics of pets who don't travel well in the church itself during the 10 a.m. worship service, with the windows wide open and the air filters on. You are welcome and invited there as well. Don't forget to sign up! It's important that the folks bringing the animals have enough trained attendents on site. If you're dropping off donations/purchasing pet treats, no need to sign up :)
