Escape to Margaritaville is a jukebox musical featuring the songs of Jimmy Buffett. The story follows Tully, a laid-back singer and bartender at a tropical island resort, who enjoys a carefree lifestyle of sun, sand, and short-term romances. His world is turned upside down when he meets Rachel, an ambitious environmental scientist visiting the island with her friend Tammy for a bachelorette getaway. While Tammy wrestles with her own relationship troubles, Rachel challenges Tully to think beyond his easygoing ways. As love blossoms and unexpected twists arise—including a volcanic eruption—the characters must decide what truly matters in life. Filled with Buffett’s signature hits like Cheeseburger in Paradise and Margaritaville, the musical is a fun, feel-good escape about love, adventure, and finding happiness in unexpected places.Contains adult themes, language, and situations.
