Mark your calendars for Sunday, November 30, for an Advent Festival Worship Service! An abbreviated time of word and sacrament will flow right into an all-ages celebration, perfect for kicking off the Advent season with joy, creativity, and community. Whether you’re a lifelong member or joining us for the first time, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.Sip on coffee or cocoa, nibble on snacks, and enjoy a cozy afternoon filled with fun and fellowship as we decorate the church for Advent and make it shine bright for the season.
There’s something for everyone:
-Cookie decorating for kids and kids-at-heart
-Advent wreath making with three crafting levels:
-A beginner wreath for preschoolers and young children
-An intermediate wreath for those ready to craft a bit more
-An advanced wreath using fresh evergreens for our experienced makers
Child care will be available, so everyone can take part in the festivities.
To make this meaningful event happen, we’re looking for volunteers to help organize gathering fresh evergreens, prep wreath-making supplies, bake cookies, or assist at one of the fun activity stations on the day of the festival.
