The St. Louis Songwriters Playing it Forward music festival, now in its third year, showcases local talent while raising funds for Play it Forward St. Louis on Saturday, October 11, in the Ivanhoe Business District in South St. Louis. The festival runs 2 – 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public.Bring a lawn chair and come enjoy great music, ice-cold beverages at Babe's Tavern and Garden, and support a St. Louis non-profit, Play it Forward providing musical instruments to the next generation of of musicians.
To donate: Bring a gently used instrument (no pianos) or cash/check for a direct donation.
