Since 1856, the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show has brought together thousands of the best equestrians and horses to compete in this historic, prestigious horse show. The two-week show takes place each year in September. The event benefits two of the region’s charities: TREEHouse of Greater St. Louis and Stray Rescue of St. Louis. The St. Louis National Charity Horse Show is an exciting equestrian competition featuring several national championships. The event draws hundreds of horses and exhibitors from across the country. Throughout each session of the show, different classes are held for horses and exhibitors with specific talents. During these events, entrants either ride their horses or drive them from a cart. All sessions of the horse show are free and open to the public, and horses and riders/drivers love to have spectators cheer them on.
