Since 1856, the St. Louis National Charity Horse Show has brought together thousands of the best equestrians and horses to compete in this historic, prestigious horse show. The two-week show takes place each year in September. The event benefits one of the region’s charities: Therapeutic Horsemanship at TREE House of Greater St. Louis. The St. Louis National Charity Horse Show is an exciting equestrian competition featuring several national championships. The event draws hundreds of horses and exhibitors from across the country. All sessions of the horse show are free and open to the public.
A USEF national-rated competition with outdoor and indoor rings, the show will feature a wide range of hunter, jumper and equitation classes. Feature classes include the prestigious Region 5 Regional Maclay Finals, a $5,000 3′ Hunter Derby, a $2,500 2’6 Hunter Derby and a $500 MOHJO 2′ Hunter Derby, $5,000 high and low Children’s/Adult Jumper Classics a $1,500 MOHJO Jumper Classic, as well as the Hamel Foundation NHS 3’3 Area Championship & the THIS NHS Adult Area Championships.
