When two patrons of Huckleberry came us to us and said they wanted to raise money for St. Jude we said sign us up!! Long time friends Dylan & Steve share something in common, a love for giving back, running and having a good beer at the HBC.September 20th come out and support a great event: Sing For the Kids! Nicky B will be hosting as we raise money by singing songs! They’ll be an awesome auction such as a cooler filled with a few
4Packs of Huck Beer & gift card among other items.
Tis the season of fun delicious fall eats like jambalaya and we’ll be selling plates of that as well.

“I'll be honest I never enjoyed running. But l've come to love what it does for me. Running gives me purpose, drive, and the ability to push through hard things when quitting would be easier. It has changed the way I manage my life, my time, and my perspective, and despite the challenges, I can't imagine my life without it now. That same mindset is what keeps me committed to St. Jude. The kids and families there face battles far greater than any marathon, and they don't get to stop when it hurts. Every mile I run and every dollar we raise is my way of standing with them carrying hope, strength, and the belief that their fight is worth everything we can give.”

“I'm in the air national guard and I'm a cyber security engineer or the civilian side. We started running a few years ago and like looking for challenges. We ran our first marathon in January and loved it. When we were looking for the next event we wanted to do we got invited to join cenla runners heroes and fundraise for ST Jude and their annual marathon in Memphis. We both have young children so we have a soft spot for sick kids. There is also an airman of mine that had his daughter at St Jude’s a few years ago and she was able to pull through into remission. We do both truly hope for a world where no children or parents ever have to go through that torture. And if we can put our hobby of running to good use then all the better.”
