HOLD THE DATE! �The St. John’s Graveyard Project will be showcasing their work as part of the St. John’s Coffee Morning and Makers Market from 10.30am on Saturday 28th September in the church.
Come down and:
* learn about our research project, our sources and our approach;
* find out more about people buried in the graveyard and how they reflect on local history;
* access the resource online and from the church website;
* have a tour of the graveyard including key people over the years - both the big hitters and the humble workers;
* take a look at the recently rediscovered church burial book (1850 to 1930);
* understand how you might get involved for next year’s 175th church anniversary celebrations.
