Interviews Begin at 12:00 Noon. Teen contestants will go first immediately followed by Miss contestants.
Pageant Begins at 5:00 pm
Interview Dress Code for Teen and Miss Divisions is an Interview Suit/Dress.
Pageant Dress Code for Teen and Miss Divisions is Formal Wear.
Teen Contestants - Interview is 5 minutes and will be round robin style. Contestants will have a 30 second on stage introduction. If you go over 30 seconds points will be deducted!
Miss Contestants - Interview is 7 minutes and will be round robin style. Contestants will have a 45 second on stage introduction. If you go over 45 seconds points will be deducted! There is no onstage question.
•Teen & Miss are contracted Titles. You will not be able to compete for any other title.
•Admission to the pageant is $5.00 (2 and under - Free). Everyone must pay with the exception of the contestant.
•Queens will receive a custom designed rhinestone crown to keep and wraparound monogrammed banner.
•15 and 2d Alternates will receive a gift.
• Scores will be available at the registration table after completion of the pageant. Judges' decisions are final.
• No refunds or transfers once payment is sent in.
• Bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated!
• Directors reserve the right to refuse entry to any individual.
Queen Rules & By Laws
1. Contracted Queens will be required to promote the Etouffee Festival as a group during television appearances as well as to attend the 2025 Etouffee Festival weekend. Miss contestants must be a resident and reside in Louisiana. Teen and Miss divisions must be single and have never been married (or common law marriage) nor have ever had a child. If any queen should marry or become pregnant during her reign, she must relinquish her title.
2. Contestants must not currently hold a festival title when competing for Etouffee Festival Queen.
3. Contracted queens will abide by all rules stated in the contract which will be signed after conclusion of the pageant.
4. Miss Etouffee 2025 is required to represent the Etouffee Festival at the 2026 Louisiana Association of Fairs & Festivals Convention & Queens Pageant. Miss Etouffee's entry fee and hotel room will be paid. Additionally, one parent ticket packet is paid.
5. Miss Etouffee will receive a $500.00 scholarship at the end of her reign if she has met all requirements of her contract.
6. Miss Etouffee will have use of the Mantle/Train and Scepter during her reign. These are to be relinquished to
Etouffee upon the end of her reign.
