About this Event
This session will take place on Saturday 16th November 2024 and includes outdoor activities for SEND young people from St Helens. Each month will have a different activity for example, canoeing, archery, abseiling, bushcraft and slackline etc.
Activity: Archery and Campfire skills
Times: 10.00am - 2.00pm (bring your own lunch)
Location: The Boathouse in Taylor Park (Regents Road WA10 3HU)
Eligibility: This programme is ONLY available to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities who live within the St Helens Borough and are eligible for Short Breaks.
Places are limited to 14 young people each time and the session will be aimed at young people aged 8-16 years. We will work with young people to identify the activity focus of future sessions.
What to bring:
- Wear some comfortable clothes you won't mind getting dirty along with some training/running shoes!
- Waterproof coat.
- Lunch!
*All relevant safety equipment will be provided, e.g., climbing shoes, floatation devices, helmets, harnesses etc.
