Save the date for our final St Francis Social for 2024 — a tropical-themed Summer Dance on Saturday 7 December at St Francis of Assisi Church Hall, West End!There will be prizes for best dressed male and female, so start planning your tropical outfits (the brighter, the better!).
As always, the night will include some called partnered/progressive dances, plus plenty of the usual fave St Francis Social tunes for those who love a bit of classic swing and jive!
All profits from the night will be donated to St Francis Table Ministry, which provides food and connection for the elderly and homebound in the local South Brisbane area.
$20 early bird tickets are on sale now until Thursday 7 November, so get in quick! General tickets will then cost $25 each from Friday 8 November.

What is the St Francis Social? Good tunes + good dancing + a good crowd + for a good cause... basically, just a really good night out!
Inspired by the Catholic parish dances held around Brisbane during the 1950s – 1970s (ask your parents/grandparents about them!), the St Francis Social is a good ol' fashion dance/social mixer for young adults aged 18 – 39, with a bit of fundraising for thrown in for good measure. All profits from our Socials (including ticket sales, drink and snack purchases) are donated to a local Catholic charities doing amazing work in Brisbane.
