About this Event
St. Elmo's Delray Poetry Open Mic Night
Dear Poets and Poetry Lovers,
Come join us for a night of creativity and expression at St. Elmo's Delray Poetry Open Mic Night! The featured poet will be Arlington Poet Laureate Courtney LeBlanc. You won’t want to miss her powerful and provocative work. Courtney’s performance will be followed by an open mic where all are invited to share their own poems or a favorite that is near and dear to the heart... the February theme is LOVE (naturally).
The event is free and open to the public.
About Courtney:
Courtney LeBlanc is the author of the full-length collections Her Whole Bright Life (winner of the Jack McCarthy Book Prize); Exquisite Bloody, Beating Heart; and Beautiful & Full of Monsters. Her next collection, Her Dark Everything, is forthcoming in April 2025. She is the Arlington County Poet Laureate and the founder and editor-in-chief of Riot in Your Throat, an independent poetry press. She loves nail polish, tattoos, and a soy latte each morning.
