In 2024 the Tour Guides celebrate 60 years of guiding both residents and visitors around the city and surrounding villages. All fully trained, Green Badge Guides and members of the Institute of Tourist Guiding, the Guides aim to be both entertaining and informative.
Terry Turner is a retired sales director, chairman of the St Albans Tour Guides and a Cathedral Guide. His lifelong passion in social history began at school. He became a City Guide following an entertaining guided walk around ‘Victorian St Albans’ fifteen years ago.
