Tonight's event will cover two highly salient topics for specialist GPs in South Western Sydney. Firstly, there will be a clinical update on primary care dermatology. And secondly, we'll hear and learn more about the relatively new access to voluntary assisted dying (VAD) in NSW.

Speaker Bios
Dr Monisha Gupta is an International Medical Graduate who obtained specialist dermatology qualifications in India, in 1993. Following her relocation to Sydney, she obtained her Australian specialist qualifications in 2008 after a 2 year upskilling.
Melding her experience across the two countries , she set up the first dedicated Pigmentary Disorders Clinic in Australia at The Skin Hospital in 2012, and is also the Head of Phototherapy.
She has been associated with SWSLHD since 2006, having trained at Liverpool Hospital, and is presently a Staff Specialist and the Head of Department, in addition to private rooms in Macarthur.
Monisha practices general dermatology with a focus on medical dermatology . She is acknowledged as an expert in immune mediated inflammatory diseases like eczema, psoriasis and vitiligo.
Monisha is an active member of the college , having served on committees and remains a thought leader in her field.
She has an interest in clinical research and is a reviewer for both national and international journals . She enjoys teaching and identifies as a life long learner.
She is passionate about acknowledging and addressing inequity in health care and promote diversity in workplaces.
Dr Wade Stedman is a Senior Staff Specialist in the ICU at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney. He has a particular interest in End of Life Care, Cardiovascular ICU, Trainee Wellbeing and Education. Over the past 18 months he has been the Medical Lead for the Implementation of Voluntary Assisted Dying in NSW and is also a Voluntary Assisted Dying Practitioner.
