For people not familiar with the event, it consists of many Neptunes floating with the current for approximately two hours down the North River. We start at the Bridge St. ramp on the North River in Marshfield and end across from Roht marine at the 3A bridge. The event is a floating party with Neptunes bringing floating coolers containing beverages to be imbibed during the float. We encourage all members to build a float for the river run and the most creative float will win a prize to be awarded at the annual banquet. However, you do not need to bring a float as your wetsuit will provide plenty of floatation and there will be 'team' floats going down the river. We encourage all members to bring any family or friends who would enjoy the event, to join us on the river run. Participants do not need to be scuba divers to participate and enjoy this event. Participants do need a full 7mm wetsuit including boots and fins. If you have any questions please call or text the Neptunes Hotline 617-804-5637.
We will be meeting at the parking area right before the North River Bridge on 3A.
There will be an afterparty with clam chowder at John Blackadar’s house in Hanover, MA.
