He'll also sing and strum a few songs, talking about their creation and lifespan...Jay Semko is bassist/vocalist with multiple JUNO Award nominees and Western Canadian Music Hall of Fame members The Northern Pikes, and is an award winning music composer for numerous TV productions, including the syndicated series, "Due South". Jay is one of Canada’s premiere songwriters, with 10 solo albums released, and is a two-time SCMA Award
winner (Roots Artist of the Year 2012 & 2015) and multiple WCMA Awards nominee. Jay is currently working on a new solo album, releasing in late 2025.
