Join us for a fun morning of Christmassy skatey shenanigans!
Saturday 14th December, in our usual training venue. £7 per guest skater.
Themed silly games to warm up (refs and nsos welcome to play), followed by one big game of 3 halves, alternating between Rookie/Intemediate and Intermediate/Advanced level jams. Both levels will be WFTDA-aligned, and a mixture of SRT and guests in each pack. Finishing with music and cake. :)
Clothing: Christmassy themed costumes very welcome! Skaters will need to have and bring their own black and white scrimmage tops with clearly visible skater numbers.

1000: Warm up and games for all
1100: Break
1115: On track derby warm ups
1130: First whistle
1155-1205: "Half" time 1 of 2
1205: Second whistle
1230-1240: "Half" time 2 of 2
1240: Third whistle
1305: Game ends, hugs, photos
1320: Awards, cake, Xmas tunes
1340-1400: Clear out of hall.
Skating ability: For the game, all skaters must be full contact scrim-passed for external scrims by their registered roller derby league. Since there will be mixed levels, rookies should have a couple of rookie scrims under their belt. Intermediate skaters may choose to play up or down depending on their preference, however we reserve the right to move skaters if deemed necessary or appropriate (let us know if you are particularly flexible about which you play on, too!)
