Do you enjoy playing pickleball?Pickleball players can show off their skills during the Sheriff’s Office’s Pickleball Tournament Jan. 17.
The tournament includes a coed juvenile competition from 8 a.m. to noon and a coed adult competition from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 605 River Rock Blvd. in Murfreesboro.
Cost is $50 per team with proceeds used to fund back-to-school shopping for middle and high school students, said SRO Sam Trubee who is coordinating the tournament. Funds may also be used to help students in need throughout the school year.
“Pickleball is a sport that all ages can participate in,” Trubee said. “It will allow people to be a part of the Sheriff’s Office and the school system in supporting the students of Rutherford County Schools.”
Players interested in competing may contact Trubee at [email protected] or 615-203-4862.
