We are thrilled to announce an exclusive non-championship event at the brand new Kart Silverstone circuit! We'll be the first major rental kart championship to hold a competitive event on the full 1377m Grand Prix Circuit using Kart Silverstone's 390cc SODI RT10 karts. This event takes place in the morning of Sunday 30 November and will finish with plenty of time for drivers to travel to our regular season Sprint Championship finale at the SRK Six Property Consulting Finale at Daytona Milton Keynes in the afternoon should they wish to.
We'll also be trialling our new Sprint format: a short 5 minute practice, four short heats, and a 10 minute final. The heats include one drop score so if you're unlucky early on you'll still have something to race for.
This event is open to all drivers aged 14 and up and there's a mandatory weight limit of +80kg which can be reached using ballast on the karts. There is no prior SRK Championship experience required and we encourage first time or one-off entries. Event cost is £130 per driver.
