About this Event

Sanatana Ireland is very happy to present “Bhagavad Gita Workshop 2024” on Saturday, 19th October at St. Brigid’s Community Centre, Church Avenue, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15.


Sanatana Ireland is a registered charity in Ireland (RCN – 20141684) which aims to spread the teachings and values of Sanatana Dharma.


Sanatana Ireland’s annual Bhagavad Gita workshop is aimed at imparting the values of Sanatana Dharma,with special focus on the significance of the essence of Srimad Bhagavad Gita. The workshop is planned from 10 AM to 4:30 PM and is aimed at all age groups, specifically kids and young adults.


Delicious vegetarian lunch would be provided to all during the event. The registration charges cover the cost of lunch for the kids registered for the event. Supporting / accompanying adults can buy lunch coupons at the venue for a nominal cost.

Below are the rules for the Bhagavad Gita Sloka Recitation competition:

1. Parents / Young adults to message Viji (0874192544) or Kingkumar (0872365378) and pre-register their kids for the Bhagavad Gita Sloka Recitation competition.

2. Last date / time for registration is 5:00 PM on Wednesday, 16th October 2024.

3. Participating children are requested to memorise the slokas and not refer to a book or mobile while rendering during the workshop. The aim of this competition is to get the children to learn a few slokas byheart.

4. The decision of the panel of judges would be final and binding on all participants and all patrons.

5. Time slot allotted for Bhagavad Gita Sloka Recitation competition is 3 minutes per participant.

6. Participants are requested to practice byheart any 5 slokas between slokas 1 to 30 from Bhagavad Gita Chapter 3.


Topic for Elocution competition is: “How do I practice Karma Yoga in my daily life”


Below are the rules for the Elocution competition:

1. Parents / Young adults to message Viji (0874192544) or Kingkumar (0872365378) and pre-register their kids for elocution competition.

2. Last date / time for registration is 5:00 PM on Wednesday, 16th October 2024.

3. Participating children are requested to memorise and not refer to a book or mobile while rendering their elocution speech.

4. The decision of the panel of judges would be final and binding on all participants and all patrons.

5. Maximum time allowed for elocution competition is 2 minutes per participant for kids below 10 years and 3 minutes per participant for kids above 10 years.

Note: All kids born on or after 1st January 2014 are considered as less than 10 year olds for participating in the events.
