SRI@21 - Marking 21 years of Leeds' Sustainability Research Institute

Join the Sustainability Research Institute (SRI), part of the School of Earth and Environment, in marking 21 years of sustainability research at Leeds and thinking about how we continue to make a difference in the future.

SRI is now a team of 115 researchers, teaching around 700 students each year across a range of programmes, and with a vibrant PhD programme.

SRI@21 has been developed over 12 months from the autumn of 2024, involving all members of the Institute. SRI@21 offers 21 sustainability research objectives, taking us to the middle of the 21st century.

This ambitious agenda for sustainability research will be launched on the afternoon of November 19th at Nexus on the University of Leeds campus.

We do hope that you will join us to celebrate how far sustainability research has come at Leeds, and to be part of how we continue to address future sustainability challenges.
