Week 2 of the SRG Summer Trail Challenge will be at Punchbowl Trail within Onkaparinga River National Park. Here is a google maps link to the start. https://goo.gl/maps/xbVfzQkAXuSbGjpp9
The Punchbowl trail starts from the lower carpark on Piggott Range Road and weaves it's way up to the main carpark. The course will go through the main carpark and follow the Tom Roberts Trail along the fence line and back to the start.
We have 2 trail options, both starting along the same track and then diverging in the middle. The trail will be marked.
Here are the Garmin maps for this week's runs:
5.7km - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/17570722
8km - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/242570496
We recommend loading the course onto your watch
Please Note:
This is a social run, not a race! Everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace. While we aim to foster a supportive and inclusive environment, participants take part at their own risk. Please ensure you're prepared for trail conditions and bring along any essentials like water, snacks, and appropriate gear.
In the event of the National Park closure due to fire ban, we will meet at Rotary Park, Christies Beach for an easy run along the coast.
We can’t wait to see you on the trails!
