Imramma Tuesdays is a new monthly session curated by Gringo and Big đ throughout 2024 where select people bring the sounds they listen to in the small corners of their homes to SRâs intimate space. Taken from Maltese, âÄĄurdien tal-imrammaâ refers to the little mouse that often appears peeping through faults in limestone walls. Whatâs less known is the meaning of âimrammaâ, a form meaning âhouseâ which features in Il-Kantilena, the first fully formed literary piece written in the Maltese language back in the 1400s which outlines âimrammtiâ as a house.
Meet us at SR for Imramma Tuesdays and enjoy home-born mixes and explorations in sound.
