Squarewave, a continuing creative endeavor for nearly 30 years, melding original psychedelic folk-rock and electric, neo-dream pop, comes together Friday August 6 at The Bur Oak to celebrate the release of Hazy and their new, forthcoming EP, Taste Change.
The acclaimed Hazy, released at the height of the global pandemic, is Squarewave’s fifth long player. Squarewave is comprised of longtime bandmates Jeff Jagielo and Patrick Connaughty on guitars and vocals, and newer members, featuring the legendary Biff Blumfungagnage on violin, Disq’s Brendan Manley on drums and his Dash Hounds collaborator Alivia Klenfeldt on bass.
Squarewave will play two sets beginning at 8 PM.
