SPSEF is an independent, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization governed by a board of directors representing community members, business professionals, educators, and parents. The proceeds from this second annual SPSEF Pickleball Tournament will go to supporting the Foundation’s Grants and Scholarship Programs. The Tournament Champions will be able to direct a $200.00 grant to their favorite School or Teacher in the Springdale School District.
SPSEF is focused on raising money that funds classroom or school-wide grants that are innovative and promote student achievement. To date, SPSEF has awarded nearly 350 classroom Innovation Grants that total $1,500,000. Additionally, the Foundation is deeply committed to providing Springdale graduates with financial assistance to further their educational experiences beyond high school. Since 2011, SPSEF has awarded $900,000 in scholarship and work-readiness funds to 700 Springdale students.
