Shirlington, VA – Sprinklestar25, celebrated for her viral TikToks meditating with a sound bowl in natural settings across the DMV, invites the community to her debut album release party. This event highlights her unique artistic journey and love for her home region.
Sprinklestar25’s music draws deeply from her life experiences in Virginia, D.C., and Maryland. With a classically trained soprano voice, she weaves together songs that are heartfelt, reflective, and sometimes simply playful. “Some of the songs are just fun and silly,” she shares. “Music doesn’t always have to be serious—it’s also about joy and connecting with people on a lighter level.”
Recorded at Depth Charge Studio in Alexandria, VA, the album reflects Sprinklestar25’s commitment to quality and authenticity. Depth Charge Studio, led by Team Demo member and rapper Mister Wise, is a renowned recording space with roots in the DMV’s vibrant music scene. Known for producing, mixing, and mastering music for both singers and rappers locally and internationally, the studio was the perfect choice to bring her vision to life. “I wanted people to clearly hear and connect with my message, and also enjoy the sound we are creating,” she explains.
From a lively Go-Go anthem celebrating D.C. to introspective tracks about resilience and activism—and even the occasional lighthearted tune—the album captures a full range of emotions and experiences. Many songs were written during nature walks along the Appalachian Trail, quiet moments in her Annandale home, or drives across the DMV. A trip to Scotland also inspired the Celtic themes of transformation woven into the album.
The release party will feature an immersive listening experience, a live performance of one song, and a chance for attendees to set their intentions for 2024. Whether through heartfelt ballads, energetic anthems, or silly tunes that make you smile, Sprinklestar25’s album promises to be a soundtrack for life’s many moments.
