About this Event
Join me for a 3 mile (+/-) intermediate naturalist hike at Olomplai State Historic Park. We will see some of the early wildflowers and green hillsides that adorn the park's oak and bay forests. The Indigenous history, cultural use and ecology of the area will also be discussed.
This will be a slower paced hike with a focus on history and plant life. All ages are welcome. We will meet at the parking lot at the end of the entry road to the park
You'll want to bring sturdy shoes, snacks and water. There are bathrooms available at the parking lot.
There is an $8 fee to park in the main parking lot, minimal free parking along the road on the way to the park.
This hike is hosted by Coyote and The Magpie guide services. I am a certified naturalist and sylvotherapist (forest therapist) who has spent countless hours studying, working , and hiking and backpacking in the worlds wildest places.
